Beta shaman testing

hey hey!

It's been a few busy days lately - had some raiding on live with my paladin, Brewfest daily's etc. What i wanted to do for some time tho was to test my premade shaman on beta and how is it to heal with it...


First of all i had to enchant and gem all gear - was kinda strange tbh as Blizz have changed JC gems and other stuff with stats so i had to adapt and decide what's needed for resto shaman in cata. I chose some int/haste, int/spirit and spirit gems. Same i did with enchants - some spellpower ones and also spirit. Made a talent tree also, took what i thought is needed. So after all that stuff i was rdy to rock! :D Never played with shaman, never healed with it on live so ye, challenge :D

First place i went was Blackrock caverns. What a joy lol! Super easy to heal, super easy on mana... Compared to paladin - no challenge at all. Kinda sad ofc but ye, lvl 80 resto shaman in shit gear can heal alot better than lvl 85 paladin with cata gear :/ Mostly i used earth shield on tank, some riptides time to time, chain heal and greater healing wave (but that was rarely). Only time i had to kinda spam was at the last boss - i was spamming myself with GHW as i was tanking both adds...What a joy!

After some runs in BRC decided to move on to Throne of the Tides. It is harder abit, but not much, had a crap tank also, he was kinda dumb abit :D i think he was very young and just very childish, that was a reason for some stupid tank deaths on trash. wouldn't happen tho with normal tank who cares about healer and healers position :D was abit harder on my mana, i guess that is because i am already lvl 83 - spells cost double now. real challenge was last boss - alot of aoe dmg, ppl running around - away from my chain heal - but noone died, so i guess i did my job well.

Never done TotT with paladin, maybe that is even good, cause i think could have been a real pain in the ass :/

P.S. Also tried going as elemental - omg omg, what a crazy dmg lol. Retri paladin can't do that much even on lvl 85.
